The main farmstead of Innis a Chroa was shown as roofed in 1874 but was unroofed by 1902. Today the remains of a drystone building are aligned WNW-ESE and measure c10m by c4.5m over walls spread to c0.8m and still standing up to c0.6m high. There is an extension to the ESE end which measures c6m by c4m over walls spread to c0.8m and standing c 0.5m high.

Abutting the NE side is an enclosure with maximum dimensions c12m defined by a low turf covered dyke.

Overlooking this farmstead, sited on a knoll c30m to the SE, is a small turf covered sub-rectangular building aligned E-W and measuring c8m by c4m over ?turf walls spread to c1m and at most 0.3m high.
