A round-ended drystone building c8m by c4.5m over walls spread in places to c0.9m wide and c0.7m high and aligned E/W sits on a slight grassy terrace overlooking an unnamed burn. The walls have been partially robbed to build a secondary feature c1m square internally with walls c1m high and c0.5m wide.

The building may date to the period before sheep farming was introduced in the 19th century.
