One of a pair later 18th century 2-storey cottages each of 3 bays and of differing width with irregular fenestration. Rubble with contrasting painted ashlar margins, no 64 having harled E front and whitewashed S return gable. Small 1st floor windows; varied glazing; end and ridge stacks with "thack stanes"; slate roofs. No 63; blind centre 1st floor window with dummy 12-pane glazing. No 64; ground and 1st floor windows in return S gable. (Historic Scotland)
