Single storey 3-bay cottage that is part of a rectangular-plan range. Harl-pointed sandstone rubble; cream sandstone dressings. Rubble quoins; droved cream sandstone margins; timber-mullioned bipartites; projecting cills. Lying-pane timber sash and case windows (glazing predominantly broken); small rooflights. Grey slate roof; stone-coped skews; cast-iron rainwater goods. Regularly spaced, corniced, brick-built ridge and apex stacks; cans missing. Empty 1998. It is assumed that prior to the formation of the garage opening, this range originally comprised 3 3-bay cottages, each with central entrances, like the adjacent, modernised and inhabited block (Historic Scotland)
