Single storey 2-bay cottage that is part of a rectangular-plan range, Harl-pointed sandstone rubble; cream sandstone dressings. Rubble quoins; droved cream sandstone margins; timber-mullioned bipartites; projecting cills. Lying-pane timber sash and case windows (glazing predominantly broken); small rooflights. Grey slate roof; stone-coped skews; cast-iron rainwater goods. Regularly spaced, corniced, brick-built ridge and apex stacks; cans missing. Garage door inserted in opening at some point before 1999 when first listed. (Historic Scotland)
