Single storey, single bay gabled boat-house accessed from main road. Coursed, droved sandstone (some plastic repairs); raised, droved base course; long and short surrounds to central opening (some polished); painted voussoir arch. Lean-to addition recessed to outer right. Roof missing slates; raised sandstone ashlar skews; rolled skewputts; red brick apex stack to E; single circular can. W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: large 2-leaf boarded timber, round-arched door centred beneath gablehead.

A simple but interesting boat house with some good features including the round-arched opening, raised ashlar skews and rolled skewputts. (Historic Scotland)
