This wreck has been identified as a Valentine Tank. It was first reported in 1985, and was said to be full of silt.

The latest available position is: 57 41.380N 03 34.050E [WGD], as reported by a fishing vessel in 2004.

UKHO chart no. 115 (1978, revised 1993) charts this wreck [Wk] at a charted depth of 6m, in a position roughly central to Burghead Bay and 2.4nm WSW of Burghead. The general seabed depth in this area is about 7m; no seabed type is indicated.

No detailed description of this wreck is apparently available.
