This milestone is situated on the S side of the A915 public road between Lundin Links and Lower Largo. It comprises a dressed sandstone block measuring 0.39m square by 0.68m in height. The NE side of its triangular cast-iron cap indicates the distances of 3 miles to Leven, 12 miles to Kirkcaldy and 18 miles to Burntisland. The NW face indicates the distances of ¾ miles to Largo, 4 miles to Colinsburgh and 11½ miles to St Andrews. There is an Ordnance Survey benchmark on the NE face of the stone.

The milestone is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Fife and Kinross 1855, sheet 25).

Visited by RCAHMS (JRS) 5 August 2010.
