Three limekilns have been built into the hairpin bend of a minor road immediately to the N of Dulnain Bridge. The kilns' bowls each measure up to 3m in diameter and the flues are situated at road level. Two of the kilns are built into the break in slope and have a buttress to support their mass. One limekiln is depicted here on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Elginshire 1874, sheet xxxii).

Visited by RCAHMS (AGCH) 11 October 2006.
