Part of the site of the goods shed is now occupied by a Tesco store, the rest by the store car park with the former goods yard also rebuilt as the remainder of the store car park.

The goods shed and yard is not depicted on the 1st Edition of the OS 6-inch map (Edinburghshire, 1853, sheet 2), but is depicted as roofed on the 1st Edition 25-inch map.
