Formerly entered as HU38NE 8001 at cited location HU 3972 8735 [N60 30 W1 16.5], and also as HU48NW 8001 at cited location HU c. 404 862 [N60 33.5 W1 15.8].
(Location cited as N60 30 W1 16.5 and also as HU 400 800). The wreck of a Second World War boom defence vessel lies [apparently in shallow water] 160m SW of Little Roe Lighthouse. Three portions are recognised: doors, engine room and bows.

31 January 1984. A quantity of unexploded ordnance has been located in the vicinity of the Little Roe light. Anchoring and fishing has been prohibited within 500 metres of the light.
Report by Shetland Islands Council, taken from the Notice to Mariners 6/82.
1983. The unexploded ordnance has been cleared by Royal Navy bomb disposal team. Divers located an old wreck whilst doing so.

This wreck is presumably to be equated with that entered as HU37NE 8002.
The location of Little Roe light remains unclear. The island of Little Roe is centred at HU 403 797: no lighthouse or beacon is noted on the current edition of the OS (GIS) AIB.
