Concrete blockhouse situated on a rocky promontory at the E side of the Island below the F Group gun emplacement (NT28SE 5.01).
The structure is six sided with three loopholes in the longest side and two in each of the others. It measures about 5m by 4m overall with the longest side at 4m and the shortest 1.70m. The wall lengths are not equal, creating an uneven appearnce to the plan. The overall height at the rear is 2.36m and front, 2.91m. Each loophole measures about o.54cm x 0.23cm with a depth of 0.36cm. The loopholes have not been bricked up. Grass is growing on the concrete roof.
Internally, two brick stands have been constructed, but it is not known whether these are original to the blockhouse or were a later addition.
The building is at the lower end of a trench system (NT28SE 5.32).
