8 cup marked stones scattered widely on hilly ground. 1 with 2 faint cup and rings. 1 and 2 are near Scarrel farm house, others on rough ground and moor up to about 150m towards Eanass Hill. Scarrel 1, found by Dan Boag in 1984. Three small cups. On boulder across the road from the old farm house. Probably not the original position.

D N Marshall 1985

This cup marked stone, which is situated immediately SW of Scarrel farmsteading (NS06NW 62), is a rounded boulder measuring 1.1m from NW to SE by 0.9m transversely and 0.5m in thickness. A cluster of three cup marks, the largest measuring about 40mm diameter and 4mm in depth, is visible on its present SW face.
