There are traces of stony mounds and hollows along the cobble storm beach in Camas Mor, which lies in the bottom of a semi-circular grassy bowl in the coastal escarpment. A trackway leads down to the beach, dropping down E side of the bowl, which is covered by lazy-bed cultivation and scattered heaps of field-cleared stones. The hollows, some of which appear to be shelters scooped into the beach cobbles, are probably of relatively recent date, and some contain the remains of fires.
