Pier marked on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross and Cronarty, sheet lv; 1881), not on the 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map sheet (1907). Replaced by pier built in 19th/20th century AD - Area in stable condition.

Pier destroyed, scattered sandstone boulders, some dressed. c. 40m long, 10m wide (scattered).
