The sheepfold depicted on the current edition of the OS 1:10,000 map is circular on plan and defined by a drystone rubble wall. Within it, an enclosure has been built on the NW (Muck02 179) measuring 5.5m by 3.7m within walls 0.6m in thickness and up to 1.2m in height; it has an entrance in the S. Also within the interior of the sheepfold, there are traces of lazy-bed cultivation and a low mound that may be the remains of an earlier hut (NM 39719 79437).
