Cardowan Colliery Baths, Lanarkshire: The site occupies a central position flanking the colliery offices on the main colliery entrance road. Pit and clean locker rooms are at right angles , joined at their intersection by the tower containing the boiler house, plenum room and water tanks. The bath house occupies a position behind the locker rooms. The canteen on the extreme left adjoins the clean entrance while at the rear of the block are the ambulance and first aid room are easily accessed from road to pit head.. The building is nearing completion, ground floor only.
