Enclosures on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross and Cromarty, sheet xliii; 1880) - seen.
NH 908 806 - Enclosure 1. 9m by 28m; 1m thick walls maximum; 0.5m high at base of slope and c. 10m from High Water Mark. Uses natural rock as the wall on the N/NE side. Entrance in SW end at midpoint in wall. No internal features.
NH 910 809 - Enclosure 2. 9.5m by 25m; More fragmentary than Enclosure 1; only a few large facing stones and tumbled wall core remains. No features. Also at base of slope.
Small sub-square structure midway between enclosures c 3m by 3m - 3 sides remain foundation course only. Possibly part of same complex or maybe not. Also 2m by 2m stone enclosure by High Water Mark.
2 small stone sub-square footings, both between the enclosures. A small rectilinear c. 2m N-S and 4.75, E-W; Wall 0.7m thick, open to the south; well built footings, rough faced stones. A sub-square stone footings, less well built than the other one, c. 9m to the N; three walls open to the N, c. 2.5m by 2.5m.
