There is little evidence on the ground of the former Rootes car factory at Linwood. The factory occupied about 88 hectares and was situated on both sides of Linwood Road (A761).
The car factory plant was in production between the late 1960's and early 1980's when it was closed.
The site is now occupied by The Phoenix Business Park and Phoenix Retail Park.
