NJ36NW 5.15 c. 3358 6570

A pillbox or small blockhouse has been identified from vertical air photographs (106G/UK 750, 5087-5088, flown 31 August 1945) in an area between the first extant pillbox at NJ 32747 65968 (NJ36NW 5.02) and Kingston village.

It is thought that all anti-tank blocks and pillboxes E of NJ36NW 5.02 have been removed as no evidence for them to the rear of the pebble beach could be found on the date of visit. It is possible that some of the structures could be buried beneath the large pebble and shingle mounds.

Visited by RCAHMS (DE), 31 August 2007.
