A tramway system built to serve the gunpowder works, running parrallel to the Craignafeoch Burn from the most northerly buildings to immediately N of the B8000 public road where it turned E for about 36m and then S across the road.

Once S of the road the tramway system bifurcated to several different destinations and buildings.

The tramway system is only depicted on the 2nd edition of the 25-inch map (Argyllshire).
