This subrectangular hut stands on a shelf to the N of crags on the W side of Gleann Mhairtein. It has been reduced to a low grass-grown mound measuring 8m by 4.8m, in the top of which there are two shallow hollows. There are also traces of an external turf-stripping halo. An arc of bank to the E is possibly the remains of a second hut.
