Swing-Bridge [NAT]
OS 1:1250 map, 1969.
This bridge carries a dock road across the entrance gap between the Albert Dock (NT27NE 57.38) to the NW and the Edinburgh Dock (NT27NE 57.05) to the SE. No source of power is evident; in the absence of an adjacent hydraulic power station, the use of electric power appears probable. The swinging-recess is on the SW.
