Inverness [name: NH 665 455].

Inverness, 10th Mar [1862]. The THORNBUSH (smack), of and from this port, for Invergordon, with lime, took fire in the harbour here 6th Mar., and was scuttled, after part of the cargo had been taken out: a further quantity has been since discharged at low water, but the vessel remains aground with her deck blown up. [Record received incomplete].
