What are probably the remains of a sheepfold, incorporating the SW end of an earlier building, are situated on the edge of boggy ground 360m SW of the remains of Tornabirrack farmstead (NJ02NE 77). Roughly square on plan, the fold measures 6.3m from NW to SE by 5.9m transversely over walls up to 1.5m in thickness on the SW and SE, where the wall of the earlier structure has been refaced, and 0.8m in height. The NW wall extends some 2.3m to the NE, perhaps indicating that the earlier building extended in that direction. The fold is first depicted on the 2nd edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire1903, sheet xxxv).

Visited by RCAHMS (TIP, AGCH) 6 September 2006.
