Huna, 14th Mar. The BRAVE (sloop), of Wick, Tait, from Castlehill or Thurso, was dismasted off Dunnet Head, Pentland Frith, 11th Mar., and abandoned, and drifted West. It is reported that she either sank in deep water, or got ashore West of Dunnet Head: crew saved.

Wick, 25th Mar. The BRAVE, Tait, from Castlehill to Thurso, which was abandoned in Pentland Firth 11th Mar., drove on shore next morning, and went to pieces.
