The site of this sundial, a facet-head with hollows in the vertical faces of the hexagonal block, was formerly entered as NO 13252 34477 (north of caretaker's house). Descriptions of its current location in MS 5741/8/33 and in the Historic Buildings List, indicate a location in the octagonal vegetable garden near the entrance to Stobhall.
