Previously identified as a possible cist (Mercer 1985, 223, no.12, fig. 10), these slabs lie at the foot of a SE-facing slope some 90m ESE of its reported location. An unlikely location for a cist, the single upright slab, the other stones and slabs in the vicinity, and the hollow in which they are situated, are probably of natural origin.

Plotted by hand-held Garmin (ND 31687 42949); header grid reference adjusted to allow for 10m known error in N to S reading.
