An extensive field system was recorded here during a field survey of part of the Ardnamurchan Estate on the N shore of Loch Sunart, North Argyll. There are turf and stone boundaries, enclosing fields of irregular shapes and sizes. All the fields contained rig-and-furrow cultivation in varying orientations. This field system, stretching along the Allt an t-Siucair, comprised most of the arable pertaining to Coiremhuilinn farm and is recorded in detail on Bald's Map of 1806-7.
