The buildings of this farmstead are still in use and form a square around a central courtyard, entered from the S. The front, S, elevation is built of roughly coursed flagstone and roofed in slate. It incorporates a two-storey block with stores and loft, a cart shed with domestic accommodation above, served by dormer windows, and a row of single-storey cottages. The site is the Home Farm for Strath House (ND25SE 51) and was visited in 1993.
