This circular sheepfold is situated in poorly drained moorland 340m N of the remains of Bullbrest farmsteading (ND34NE 22). The fold measures 9.5m in diameter within a dry-stone wall 0.6m in thickness and 0.5m in height, and has an entrance on the S. It is first depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Caithness 1877, sheet XXIX).
