The two-storey Officer's Mess is situated to the N of the main complex An L-shaped brick and concrete two storey building in neo-Georgian style. Porched entrance on NW elevation with a roof of machine made pantiles.

W wing contains a squash court with large rectangular cupola above and wooden balcony at the NW end. All of the ground floor windows and doors are boarded up.

Internally there are mess, recreation rooms,

Built by the War office between 1936 and 1939 as part of the barracks complex.

About 33m to the SW of the Officer's Mess is a barge boarded T-shaped in plan wooden sports pavilion with tiled roof in rustic style. The external walls are hung with wooden tiles. Internal divisions are also of wood. The entrance is to the W with a store entrance in the E elevation. The building is in a very derelict condition with the canopy in an advanced state of collapse.
