The Sergeant's Mess, built in red brick and concrete, built by War Office. Situated at the E end of the parade ground.

Tiled roof with an extension on the E end.

On the ground floor is somewooden panelling in the entrance hall and wooden art deco style staircase. A large lounge with ante room. Within the lounge is an ingleneuk with wooden seats and red brick fireplace. Another fireplace with glazed cupboards each side survives in the ante room. Original light fittings survive though several have now been vandalised.

Second floor are several bedrooms, recreation rooms and toilets.
