Fushie station is described in the Object Name Book of the Ordnance Survey as 'A small shed and station on the Hawick branch a little East of Catcune Mill' and as ' A small shed... where passengers and goods are booked to Edinburgh, Hawick and the intermediate stations on the line it is the property of the N.B. Railway Company'.
