NJ 549 486 Granite slab built into a private garden wall at 4 Riddoch Court, Rothiemay. Surface smoothed, having deeply cut (0.7cm) outline of bird-like figure with beaked head presently lying on its side. The figure is 30cm long from head to bottom part of 'cloak' now flaked off, and 17.5cm broad (from 'shoulder' to 'stomach'). The figure's head is 7.5cm diameter with a prominent squared-off brow, and the beak is 10cm long and 1.25cm wide. There appears to be a remnant of a further carving at the upper left corner of the slab (over the head and beak) which may indicate it was part of a larger sculpture.
