Not to be confused with bridges within Gargunnock village, for which see NS79SW 23, NS79SW 46, NS79SW 47.

Gargunnock Bridge [NAT]

OS 1:10,000 map, 1977.

This bridge carries Kirk Lane (which here forms the B8075 public road) across the River Forth to the N of Gargunnock village (NS79SW 11). The river here forms the boundary between the parishes of Gargunnock and Kincardine (Stirling), to the S and N respectively.

The location assigned to this record defines the midpoint of the structure. The available map evidence indicates that it extends from NS c. 71470 95176 to NS c. 71481 95184.

Information from RCAHMS (RJCM), 2 June 2006.
