This structure is shown as roofed on the first edition OS 6 inch maps (Inverness-shire, Sheet CXXI, 1876). The second edition of 1900 depicts the building as unroofed.
Although area was surveyed in 1994 during the course of an archaeological evaluation, no remains were located within the woodland now covering the site.
