In July 2001, an archaeological watching brief was undertaken on the ground preparation for an extension to a private house, as it was within the defined archaeologically sensitive area of Kilmartin Glen. This exercise revealed a wall and a rubble drain, both of which can be associated with the 19th century farm complex. A prehistoric worked flint flake was also encountered as a stray topsoil find.
