A farmstead, comprising four roofed buildings, one partially roofed building, two unroofed buildings and one enclosure, six unroofed structures which may be planticrubs, a separate roofed building and two enclosures are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Orkney and Shetland (Shetland) 1882, sheet lxvii). Three unroofed structures and two enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973).
