Repair of the Church.

Letter from John Bertram to James Watson of Saughton. He

enclosed report and estimates from mason and wright.

Walls require to be pinned and harled, gables flattened and steeple

partly taken down. Some seats require flooring, 2 new joists are

needed for the ceiling and a window make on either side of the pulpit.

of Saughton. Tradesmen have begun to repair the passage and floor

of the Church.

The Estimate is 60 guinaes for additional work that entails
