Bonnybraes camp a large military accommodation camp is situated immediately E of Lochryan House (NX06NE 17). Known as Cairnryan Camp it extended S to Cairnryan village. The camp housed personnel serving in the Adminstration Block (NX06NE 11.04) for Port No.2. Only the foundations survive of the former brick and concrete huts in a field now used for rough grazing.
