Newhailes Station falls just within the parish boundary of Edinburgh. To the east is the parish of Inveresk (East Lothian). Newhailes Station is depicted on the OS 1st Edition map (Edinburghshire, sheet IV 10). It has since been demolished. Information from RCAHMS (KD), March 2002.
