On its passage through Paisley this 240 foot long tunnel took the canal under Causewayside.

This tunnel, taking the canal under Causeyside in the centre of Paisley, is visible on the 1st edition of the OS 1:2500 map (Renfrewshire 1864, sheet xii.2).
