NM65NW 26.01 from 6253 5698 to 6297 5722

A plantation dyke, on the SW-facing slope overlooking Loch Teacuis, was recorded during a pre-afforestation survey on the Rahoy Estate. The dyke extends NE from the shore for some 200m where it swings E and NE around the base of Torr nam Broc. At NM 6253 5698, it joins the plantation dyke (NM65NW 26.00) running along the back of a broad terrace. The dyke is 1m high and still retains its heather-turf capping. It is wholly turf-built for part of its course.
