George Mellis and Sons occupied No.28 Guild Street according to the Aberdeen Post Office Directory of 1957-8.

(Undated) information in NMRS.

During May 1999, RCAHMS conducted a photographic survey of Guild Street and environs. This also included views of the Custom house at 26-32 Guild Street. The purpose of this survey was to enhance and augment the existing holdings of the National Monuments Record Scotland.
