One roofed building, which may be a smithy, one partially roofed building annotated 'Ruin', which may be a row of dwellings, and three enclosures are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Kirkcudbrightshire 1854, sheet 55). One roofed, one unroofed building and three enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1984).
