A township, comprising nine roofed buildings, one partially roofed long building annotated 'Ruins', one unroofed building and four enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Forfarshire 1865, sheet xxx). Six roofed, two unroofed buildings and three enclosure are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1978).
