A township comprising one partially roofed building, thirty roofed buildings, five of which are long buildings and one is L-shaped, fifteen enclosures and a limekiln is depicted on the OS 1st edition 6-inch map (Argyllshire 1882, sheet clxxxviii). Five unroofed buildings, one of which is a long building of three compartments, one partially roofed building, fourteen roofed buildings, one of which is a long building, and seven enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1982).
