Blackburn Mill (Cotton): An extensive spinning mill, with offices, gasometer, and residence of manager (Mr Hendry) all in good repair. It affords employment to about 100 males and about the same number of females. The property of the firm of Gilkison and Co., Glasgow. William Gillespie Esq of Torbanehill is the superior.
