A stone-walled slate-roofed house, an enclosure and a roofless outbuilding have been recorded on oblique aerial photographs (RCAHMSAP 2003) on the hillside about 100m from the NW shore of Dales Voe. The site is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Orkney & Shetland (Shetland) 1880, sheet xxx) and on the current 1:10,000 edition of the OS map (1983).
